Las Palmeras is a 20 minute drive from Ixtapa, a modern beach resort, and a 30 minute drive from the relatively well known fishing village of Zihuatanejo. Additionally, the Villa is only 10 minutes from a surfers haven and the beach community of Troncones. Everything you need in the way of restaurants, entertainment and shopping can be found in any of the above.
